ARE YOU GROWN UP?

When do you know if you are grown up? How do you know when you are gown up? If you have to ask someone how to do something that just takes common sense, OR when you don’t know right from wrong, OR if you cannot or will not take steps toward gaining independence, OR have to ask for a ride somewhere in order to get from point A to point B, OR when you cannot perform the most simple tasks to take care of yourself, then YOU ARE NOT GROWN UP!

Jesus loves all of His children. He loves each of His children’s unique laugh, they way they walk and talk. He loves each of us the same. He also gives us all the same measure of faith. Your measure of faith is no more than mine, nor mine more than yours. However, we may differ in how we apply our faith in God, through Jesus Christ. How are you applying your faith? What are you believing for? The Holy Word says that God knows all. Do you believe you can fool God? Do you truly understand that He knows your heart? Do you honestly know that the way to our heavenly Father is ONLY through Jesus Christ? Do you know and believe that principle? There is NO other way. Therefore, how do you believe? Are you constantly speaking and spewing the Word in vain without walking the deeds representing the Word? In other words, are your words empty? Does your life show evidence 24/7 of your walk with the Lord? If you speak and merely act the part of a true believer, and you engage others’ with your own interpretation of the Word, where does that lead you? Where does it lead those who are listening to you? What does your life speak? What is the evidence to the Lord of your belief in His Holy Word? What is the evidence to those to whom you are speaking to? Be careful as the Bible says if the Lord cannot trust you with the little things, how can He trust you with the big things? Can Jesus trust you? Can your family trust you? Can your brother/sister trust you? Who are you in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Savior? Know that you are ACCOUNTABLE to God, to Jesus for EVERYTHING you do and say.

Jesus came with only two commandments to follow. First, not to place any other God above Him, and the second is to love thy neighbor as thyself. Are you living His commandments? Does your life show evidence of these commandments? OR do you believe that you are slick and wicked and that God does NOT know you? Will you be shunned when you have to answer to Jesus and have Him tell you that He never knew you because of your ways and your words? Do you know that the Bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue? What are your words speaking? What is truly in your heart? Deceit, deception and wickedness OR love, mercy and empathy? Who are you? Does your spirit recognize in another human being’s mercy from the Spirit of the Lord? OR do you have the audacity to believe it is you? Are you giving ALL the glory to God through Jesus Christ? Or are you foolish to believe that you deserve the glory? Are you a humble man/woman? When will you come to terms that JESUS IS LOVE? Will your deeds ever be in line with the Word of God? You cannot love one without the other; God without Jesus and be in line with the Word. Remember GOD KNOWS ALL! You cannot fool HIM! And, most of all, all of your treasures are from the heart! So, be careful little ones on what you allow your heart to believe. Grow up!
